Position summary

Reporting directly to the Group Head of Brand and Communications, the Marketing Communications Executive is responsible for delivering the Group’s global marketing communications and lead generation strategy. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced and growing organisation with multiple companies operating across the world.


The marketing team manages the brand development and marketing strategy for the STRI Group and its companies including STRI ltd, STRI Australia, STRI Arabia, the Environmental Protection Group and Carrick Construction.


Key responsibilities include the following:

  • Manage written content for all channels (internal and external), working with all areas of the business to plan, gather information and create engaging content. Testing formats, analysing results and implementing learnings.
  • Support the development and implementation of social media strategy across the Group’s social pages, including sourcing and writing content, uploading posts and managing paid advertising budgets with accountability for results.
  • Implement the Group’s print media strategy, including trade and business press, events, sponsorships and affiliations with accountability for budget and results.
  • Ownership of the Group’s tactical digital marketing plans including email, blogs, and newsletters.
  • Work closely with the Content and Digital Marketing Co-ordinator to ensure video and visual content is effectively integrated into the plan.
  • Be the lead marketing representative on key new business projects, working alongside the project management team and wider departments to ensure we are gaining maximum internal and external marketing exposure during the lifespan of the project and upon project completion.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of all internal comms, ensuring all teams across the business are well-informed and engaged.
  • Stay at the forefront of industry and technological developments and use this knowledge to evolve our digital platforms
  • Manage and deliver ad hoc marketing projects such as events or partnerships
  • Assist other areas of the marketing department where necessary


Requirements for the role:

  • Degree in Marketing or related discipline.
  • 3 years’ experience in a B2B environment preferred.
  • Experience in creating and delivering strategic marketing plans.
  • Experience working cross functionally with all business departments.
  • An enthusiastic personality and teamwork approach
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • A driving licence and use of a vehicle for work purposes
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high quality work
  • A friendly, positive ‘can do’ attitude


The role is predominantly an office-based position, with requirement to travel to projects and events.
