Event support services
Performance monitoring
We work with a number of sports clubs and governing bodies to provide monitoring services, helping them to understand how their surface is performing either on an ongoing basis or during a tournament.
A variety of factors will be monitored including hardness, traction, grass height, moisture content, and rooting depth and mass, with tolerance ranges to flag anything which may effect the playing quality of the surface.
Tournament support
In addition to providing long-term strategies, design and environmental consultancy and ongoing support, we also can also provide specific assistance around tournament delivery. This includes technical support to grounds teams at tournament venues, presentation and pitch and tournament management supervision, reporting and feedback.
STRI has been integral to the delivery of sports surfaces used to host high-profile tournaments including the Olympic Games, FIFA World Cups, Rugby World Cups, Wimbledon Championships and UEFA tournaments.
